  • Brand implementation, social media strategy and grant-writing.

    When the Avoyelles Commission of Tourism underwent a major rebrand, they needed implementation support. I created a strategy to not only utilize their new assets, but connect the dots on their digital marketing efforts to increase traffic to their updated website.

  • Content research + strategy, copywriting, social media management.

    As the project and social media manager for a marketing team, I developed and executed a social media strategy that increased output by 50% and developed targeted campaigns which increased membership for this destination marketing company. In addition, I managed the content transfer for a full website redesign.

  • Social media, branding + communications.

    With the goal of reaching education leaders, I worked with the CEO of Glean Education to develop a full content marketing strategy that included brand guideline development, email campaigns, social media content creation and public relations efforts.

  • Copywriting + Media Strategy

    As a new business with a growing client list, Jumping Jane was looking for a way to communicate their bounce house offerings and differentiate themselves from competitors. We worked together to come up with a slogan that conveyed their brand - sleek, modern bounce houses that are pretty and fun! We created cohesive copy that could be used across merchandise, advertisements, social media and the company’s website.

  • Grant-writing and management, email, web copy + maintenance

    Utilizing my experience in public history, I worked with the Arts Council of Avoyelles to conduct grant research and write applications that best matched their efforts. We secured grants totaling over $20,000 to support their marketing efforts and flagship fundraising event. We also took the opportunity to simplify and optimize their website while connecting the dots of their content marketing strategy.

Creative Direction


  • Video Script + Location Scouting + Story Development + Shot List

    I worked with the Bayou des Glaises Cultural District to develop a short promotional video highlighting the cultural assets of the area. With a strong sense of the brand ethos and voice, I wrote the script copy, scouted locations, organized shoots, and developed a story board to drive production. See the full video here.

  • Branding, website build + social media management.

    Working with Bayou des Glaises Cultural District as a new organization, I developed a full suite of brand assets, inspired by its surrounding landscape, to guide their online presence. I also wrote and secured grants that supported their cultural preservation work.
